Each room is designed and set up to meet every child’s individual age group. All activities planned out will be age appropriate and will aim to encourage children’s learning and development.
Our Baby Room provides a calm, nurturing environment designed to help our little babies feel safe, loved, and secure. we have a settling in period when they first start where the parents can come in and sit with the child to help the transition become easier for both baby and parents. With plenty of cuddles, sensory and messy play, focused activities and outdoor fun we aim to support each baby’s individual needs and milestones — from first steps to first words! Our baby room is warm and welcoming and spacious enough for every child to grow, explore and thrive at their own pace.
At this age, children are curious and full of energy, so our setting offers a balance of structured activities and free play to encourage independence, language development, and social skills. Practitioners plan activates based on children’s interests and curiosity but also focused activities introducing more phonics and maths to help them reach their full potential as they are growing and leaning new things everyday. In this room we also focus on potty training and helping the little ones become aware and ready to start using the toilet when needed. We also gently guid the children to share, take turns and express themselves whilst still having fun and exploring but remembering our golden rules! Our toddlers gain confidence as they discover more about the world around them.
Big imaginations come to life in our Pre-School Room! Here, play and learning go hand-in-hand as children start getting ready for their next adventure — “big school.” Practioners plan activities which focus on learning through children’s interests as they become more aware of the world and people around them but also helping children become school ready and focusing more on early Maths and Literacy activities to help them grow and achieve certain millstones. At this age children will also start expressing big emotions and feelings which practitioners will talk about and create a safe space for children to express themselves and grow. in this room we encourage independence, curiosity and kindness, helping your little one feel ready and excited for the journey ahead.
